"I am Number Four" by Pittacus Lore Book Review

    The basic plot is that John Smith (main character) has been moving around the united states. He is 15 and isn’t from this plant. He is from loric an alien plant just like earth. He has been hiding out from the Mogadorians. Mogadorians are an alien race that is reagvenes and has destroyed the loric plant. The Mogadorians are after the nine kids that left the plant in time and got refuged on plant Earth. The Mogadorians have to kill the kids in order and three are dead and john is number four.

    I loved the book. It has action and adventure. It also has a good plot to it. The book is for Si-fi fans and however likes action and adventure. The book isn't that long 448 pages and if you like it, it reads fast.

Terrifying aliens that plan on killing him and the other nine Loric children who have sought refuge on Earth. Loric's people are much like people on earth and had a plant like earth then the Mogadorians destroyed there plant. The Mogadorians are picking off the surviving kids in numerical order. The first three are dead and John's number is up. Will his Legacies, his defining super powers, develop in time for him to fight against the enemy?

Queen Elizabeth and Elizabethan Period

Queen Elizabeth was 25 years old when she became Queen of England. 45 years of being a Queen ended with her death in 1603. She was well educated. She was tutored at her father's court by Roger Ascham, one of the the most outstanding scholars and thinkers of the age. Elizabeth taste in fashion set the standard for the rich people and for the rest of society. She loved music, drama, poetry. Which made many of England's greatest writers found encouragement. Poetry and drama was created durning the Elizabethan Period. Durning Elizabeth's leadership, England experienced a cultural reawakening of thought, art and vision. Her death marked the end of the tudor line and the glorious era in England history.

Editing

   Peer editing is good because you are having another student reading it and having there opinion on it. The teacher conference I like the most because you can hear it out loud and hear the mistakes. I think conferencing will make you a better writer because you can take about mistakes and talk about what you can do better.

Reading

  I used to never read before till high school. SSR has changed my reading habit because I'm actually reading. The benefits are that your reading so you might get into a book and like so you actually read it. I don't really have a plan to read more or less just going to read.

Blogging

   Blogging is a different writing style then i am used to. I think it has help because it's writing. I have never been good at writing so writing more helps and the style is good cause blogs are short. Goals are that blogging will be easier to write.

Arizona Shooting

   A Arizona shooting killed six people and wounded 13. Jared lee Loughner was the killer. His lawyer will try to keep him off death row because of his mental state. Loughner is charged with murder and attempted murder. Loughner lawyer will seek a change of venue for the trail. His lawyer is going to gather evidence to make him seem crazy. Prosecutors will probably counter any insanity defence and argue his execution.

   I think that if he is not insane or crazy he should get the death penatly but if he is insane he should go to the hostpital. If he is insane that probably why he did it. He didn't get help so he probably explode an did what he did because he is crazy. If he isn't crazy or insane he should get the death penatly because he did it on purpose.
